A small under tow of air currents disarrange the thick fur underneath Rhythm as he pad along on a small trail that seemed to have been ran down by trails of different types of animals. Rhythm wasn't going anywhere particular really, he just went with where his paws inspired him to go. However he was somewhat irritated today with himself and he wasn't really sure why. Rhythm had soon cut short in his tracks for a second scooping out his environment, he wanted to make sure he at least had some cover while he voyaged through his thoughts. When he looked at his legs, his paws were covered in a white looking brown substance that cracked up, and fell off everytime he moved. He cringed at the sight, which sent his pelt into a shock of hair raising aggravation. "Mud," he grunted before raising his left paw giving it a lazy shake, to no prevail did the caked on substance come off. Most of the time he would've have been trying to scrape it off, but today he just wasn't feeling the motivation or eagerness to do so; he was quite bored really.
Rhythm had been raring for adventure to show it's face; Give him a run for his life. Though his desire for this particular inquiry went unanswered (or so he thought.) Rhythm had spent his time tracking badgers or porcupines. Dangerous? Sure, it was a thrill; Terrifiying? Of course it was, he wouldn't advise the sane to do such things but for him it was a great way to drain time and if it meant taking a few scars here and there he didn't hesitate a second to jump at the chance. Most would tell him he was crazy, but he would only tell them to mind their own business.
Subsiding his head low to the ground, he opened his large nostrils to comprehend all scents that seemed to scurry around. Rhythm was seeking for a scent he had acquired a ways back when he was wandering along this territories borders. Though stale, his nose was kin to this certain smell. Soon Rhythms neutral face turned upward into a smile along his dark lips. Wolf "Well, well well," he said to himself, then moving again sniffing a presence of more than one wolf scent filled his nose. "More than one? Has to be a pack.. What a surprise." He said sarcasm filling his voice to the fullest. Surely they wouldn't mind a dear wolf giving them a nice friendly visit. Now would they? Of course there maybe a small complication ending up with Rhythm not being acknowledged, or there would be an even larger chance he would be be acknowledged, but attacked. He was all too aware of this, but he was up for the test. Picking his muzzle up from the ground he picked up momentum into a small trot into unknown territories which sent a small amount of his pelt to brisk with anticipation. He wanted to see how these wolves would act with him around their territory. Hopefully he wouldn't be let down by how they would coop to his presence, because that truly would be a sore sight to see.
As he advance closer and closer to his target, his paws came to a halt; leaping onto a rotten dead log, his tail brush dead leaves from the bark which in turn fluttered to the ground. He was close now, very. His body was prepared to leap into action, of course he wanted to run head first into this land, but he was way too clever to act in that manner for he knew arrogance killed. He had a better theory- to let them know his presence and come to him. Though it seemed like a stupid thing to do, Rhythm was on a higher level thinking scale than most. If they came, 99.9% of the time it would be a deadly assault, but if nothing came he would only assume the best that he was not much of a interest or threat to them. But if the first thought where to come to be, he would have a chance to bolt. Not saying his pursuers would immediately stop the pursuit - not by a long shot. But at least it would give the wolf the favor of a head start.
A small yet elegant chirp erupted from a tree that lingered above him demanding his attention. Looking up, Rhythms sharp vision spotted a sparrow. The sparrow shook his ruffled feathers in attempt to reorganize them. The male titled his head at the sight before giving a rough shake to his neck fur trying to mimic the small sparrow. The sparrow then tilted his head as if saying, 'challenge?' Then with that, it let out another chirp spreading his wings to show his very vibrant arrangement of feathers neatly placed. Rhythm found himself rolling his eyes at the sight, then in return he gave a small growl which scared the bird away. "Nothing but show offs." He said lightly before attentively easing his ears into an upright position carefully examining everything in his path.

Soon the red wolf told her her name. Whisper, that was a nice name and Echo couldn't help but a bit jealous. Echo thumped her tail on the ground hard. Then moved her paws underneath her in a bit of a clumsy manner. But whisper never really told her about her life, fair enough Echo hadn't shared her experience with the she wolf yet. As curious as Echo was wanting to know more about this wolf, she felt it best that she lay off just a tinsy bit. Suddenly a scent of another wolf pressed into her nose, making her flinch. Another wolf? "You smell that?" She asked looking between both the wolves, hopefully it wasn't her senses playing tricks on her again. Wolves mentioned: Whisper, Nanakin, Rhythm(?) Wolves addressed: Whisper, Nanakin. OOC: Sorry for the crappy post. I'm tired .

Whisper paused she was enjoying watching them comprehend each other. She knew that she herself was probably not very talented at being a round others or enjoying a conversation, as she was still feeling out of place in this one; but watching these two and feeling more safe at the distance and barrier between the other two she was finally able to enjoy being around other wolves. She wanted this moment to stretch out to eternity. The scenery was not distracting mostly green, and she was able to hear her own thoughts. And right now she was wondering at the chemistry between Nanakin and Echo. She may just be imagining it however, and quickly dismissed thought without further evidence to prove it. Besides they had barely gotten through their greetings. She would need to continue to watch them and while she might enjoy the company of another, she was not in the habit of following wolves for a period of time as when you were with another for a long time it was hard to keep a mask up; and they became boring to you. Well except you had an exceptional like of them. But that was rare. Rare enough that she no longer considered the possibility. She wanted to walk away now, but she stayed, because she wanted to watch these two.
The bumbling male wolf seemed to have finally understood what Echo had said and Whisper listened to his response. An interesting one, but seeing as he was an 'interesting' wolf she did not feel surprised. Looking elsewhere as she tried not to be intrusive she saw the mountains against the sky. She thought that a mountain would be something she could climb; and wondered what she would find up there. Focusing on that as if it were a destination she was headed her paws remained on the ground, but she needed to be ready to bolt. Maybe she should suggest they move farther away from those wolves. She was not scared, she was being cautious, they bothered her. Not just if they were an eye sore, but because they were on their lands, and they could call to their pack at any time. Although if they were prideful she wondered what they would do. They were now outnumbered assuming that Echo and Nanakin chose a side against them. She would end up fleeing either way. She could kill, but she was not a skilled fighter and at this point bloodshed seemed pointless to her when there must be some other option. She began to think of one before realizing she had no need to. She was already going to run, it was the two here that needed an escape plan, and she was not obligated to express one to them.
Causally she looked to the two of them. She could detect some emotions, but they were hard to place, it was almost as if the female wolf was distant. She contemplated it, although Echo seemed very simple outwardly she felt that she should maybe give the wolf some time to contemplate herself, if she was lucky she might be able to get a deep understanding of the wolf and not a nonsense of words strung together that the mind created on a whim. Such a personality would change in an instant; but she guessed that it was easier for some to accept that they were ever changing than accept that deep down the majority of wolves were rotten to the very core. But that was ehr take on the matter. What would they think?
She was in no mood to ask. Asking them their opinion on something meant that she would have to listen, and it may not be worth her time, she did not want to waste time that could be sent doing useful things. It was simply annoying and pointless, besides it only degraded the wolves whom she was speaking to further as she tried to have some meaningful words with them and they fell short of those expectations.
She noticed though that Echo was thinking on her words, which she appreciated, and she was glad that they were not taken lightly. It was a comfort to know that not everything she said and did to keep up her careful appearance was put to waste, while also revealing a small amount of who she really was. She did not think it was particurarly arrogant to say that she knew about the world. She was only three years old or she was three years old; depending upon the situation. She had seen much, and when looking into the eyes of the wolves, with pure hatred she saw one of their more honest forms; and honestly many of them were golden or an amber color. She ran into a lot with her hazel color as well. She had known that a few wolves who were not quite wolves had brilliant colors like blue or green and occasionally she envied them; to look at someone with an intense green gaze, she wished that she could do that at times.
Finally the female responded, and Whisper paused. She was not sure if the wolf was actually telling the truth or simply trying to make an impression. Seeing as the phrase that the wolf chose to use was fairly generic she guessed that it was not genuine, but she would not judge as it was not important matter to her. If the wolf was going to be ignorant then that was her fault and would only serve to annoy, but she could not judge the wolf entirely upon a mistake that she made. She would have to think about it a little bit more. She hoped that she would not be engaging in a conversation however with a wolf whom could not be intelligent about their conversation. They were all in fora very long conversation that way, and she was already a more than a little nervous about the entire situation. Being around so many wolves made her nervous, but she tried not to let it show. Her features a mask of disdain and indifference.
Focusing on the mountains and not the wolves helped a little bit. The wolf was moving so much, wagging her tail, and constantly moving around. Irritated she imitated the motion with her ears before abruptly bringing them to a halt. She was not in the habit of nervously twitching as in a fight it could betray the direction of her attack and she did not want that. The last thing she needed was yet another weakness added to her fighting skills, or rather a lack of them. She was not much of a fighter; but she wasn't a lover either she amended. You aren't anything. A small voice spoke in her head, nothing but a coward, and inwardly she ruefully smiled. True. Why try to deny it?
She waited for the wolf to continue as she was not in the mood to pick a stimulating and interesting across the participants topic for a prolonged conversation. She was more here to observe these two and what was developing in the conversation between them. Hopefully more wolves did not think it a good idea to intrude up on the borders of a pack. She was still unsure about the power and the numbers and skill of this pack. They had to have something in their favor to capture a beautiful, bountiful, and vast territory like this. It really was amazing. Suddenly the wolf found something. But her tail stiffened marginally although she showed nothing else. That topic.
Why did so much seem to revolve around the past, it wasn't like she was trying to avoid it. She was a lot of things, a coward, lucky, stupid, the list could go on forever. Why did the others try to remind her, whenever they asked her. She contemplated the best way to answer the question. She had long ago forgotten the way back to the place she had come from; although it had never really been her home. She guessed that it was somewhere a ways from here. She did not know how to answer the other part of that question though. Her sire; where had she come from? She did not know. She turned her head to Echo, and wondered if she could just tell the wolf it was a long story, although judging the wolf would only sit down and say that she had the time. She was spared when the wolf was distracted by another thought, and to her luck it was something that she could answer with ease. She would not mind giving up her name if it meant that she could get off of telling any wolf about her origins and the things that would naturally come with it. Her name, her maw parted and she felt the cool air push into her lungs and tongue. It was comfortable and she liked the sensation despite the fact that she already felt cool as her pelt did not do the best of protecting her.
Suddenly the wolf spoke again, and the wolf smiled, she had not seen a wolf smile for a reason so plain in simple in awhile, and if she did not wonder if she would look just as weird doing it then she would smile as well. However it was not a habit of hers, and that would mean being goofy if she messed it up. Not wanting to do that she watched as the wolf sat down and began vigorously moving her tail; hoping that that meant she could answer her question without interruption she spoke evenly "Whisper." Then looked away. She had such an odd and weird name. What was wrong with it, she did not know. It wasn't a bad name, but it made her feel small and insignificant. As if she was that afterthought, or never meant to be heard. wolves mentioned: All| wolves addressed: none|ooc: s' okay |

Nanakin paused, he had listened to the female wolf's attention change so much that it made his head spin. Sighing he looked down at his muddy paws. He did not mind the mud, but he wondered if the female minded. Echo. Echo was such a pretty name, the thought occurred without much effort, almost as if it had always been there. Shrugging his great shoulders with fur he looked around trying to think of something smart to say in response to the female wolf before realizing that she had been talking to the red one whose name he now knew was Whisper. They were both easy names to remember. Echo like when he howled alone in the canyon, and Whisper like when the grass seemed to say hello. The grass was always talking even though he never figured out what it said. At least that's what his sister told him. He was sure it was true because he could hear sounds. Maybe he was just too stupid, maybe he should ask the red wolf. Opening his mouth before thinking about what he wanted to ask he closed it. Suddenly Echo said something. He opened and tried to smell the air by inhaling. He could smell a wolf. He could smell it! Wagging his tail the wolf opened his maw happily as he sat down waiting for the wolf to arrive. He was just excited that Echo was excited. He wondered who the new wolf was. Wolves addressed: none Wolves mentioned: Rhythm, Whisper, Echo

When the male peered amongst the territory he was both satisfied and disappointed at the same time. Glad that he wasn't attacked, but also upset he wasn't attack. Flicking his tail in a rather zigzag gesture the male vaulted off the deceased log upon the terrain. And yet typically from his former times of being chased from borders, this just made the male shrug. "Strange.. But not surprising." His words seeped from his dark lips dull leaving his face in a small bored frown. Rhythm was no sap and he didn't put nothing past this so called pack. The tricky little wolves could be waiting to ambuse him once he got into the position they desired him to be in. There was great potency in deceitfulness as a consequence, this pack was pulling this off in a rather extordary manner. After all, this was their domain and he was kind of poping in unauthorized. But wasn't that what he was their for? To get his adrenaline steaming through his body. He decided he was going to take the risk, and throw the aftermath behind him.
Propelling himself with his long lean legs, he found himself somewhat giving a small hop at the end of each step. The male was trying to stall out as much as he could enjoying the enviorment nature provided for him. Rhythm was in the least bit of a haste to run head first into the jaws of an angry pack. Soon He had made his way into a small group of wolves. Now this was something the male clearly wasn't anticipating. At least throw some attacks, growls something. But it soon broke through his conscious that they clearly paid no attention to his trespassing. He survayed a small cluster of wolves chatting but he held leery of the other two wolves who watched as the wolves chattered; They were about a distance from the rest. So was his accusation of them being a pack proven in vain? Absolutely considering they didn't even post hold a pursue of him to even be considered a, 'group.' Rhythm felt absurd by his thinking, but how was he supposed to know? He just assumed they where a pack. Trying to restrain his aggravation that dare to venture on his pelt he tried to think perhaps that this was a pack, rather than a disorganized stance of wolves that didn't seem to notice him wonder into their territory. Though it sounded ridiculous, belief in ones mind was something stronger than one may imagine. In the small back of Rhythms mind he wanted them to convince him that his time was not wasted stumbling upon their land.
Rhythm deliberately approached the three wolves that seemed to have mingled his interest rather than the other two who held their distance, though every once and awhile he would glance towards their way incase they wanted to try something. Funny, his trust was at level zero and he didn't at all bother to try and hide it. He was all aware of the act they may try to pull; like chess, the three wolves where simply pawns to draw him in until he was good for the kill.
He came to a stop about three feet away, his hetero colored blue and brown orbs took in the characteristics and appearance of every wolf etching them into his mind. Not wanting to seem dominant he shifted his once proud stance into a bit of a slouch offering that he ment no harm to neither party. As much as he hated being submissive he gluped his pride down. One wrong move and he could set this off ground engaging them to become rather aggressive to him; he wanted to show his respect. Giving a low smooth tone that flowed like honey he started to engage a conversation. "My name is Rhythm, I mean no harm..-" his eyes flowed from wolf to wolf until it stopped at the red fae, he eyed her details closely, shifting a eyebrow he continued, "..-I'm just a wolf looking for a pack." His black fur gleamed from the sun and his muscles could clearly be seen. Giving his tail a small low wag, he wanted them to know that he was friendly and tell them his intentions.
The other two wolves held a small goofy expression upon him which moderately made him want to turn back and walk away; he had nothing against them though because he could tell they where rather the adventurous types, and he, himself had this same trait. His eyes again drift to the red females direction, looking over her features. Her details where cleary something so complex he couldn't take in like he did the others at one glance. Lifting his ears high there was a small click in his tongue before he spoke again. "What are your names?" Expecting them to introduce themselves since he took the first leap. Though he was addressing all his gaze was still fixed on the red wolf making it seem like he was only talking to her. A small grin slipped across his face, she was something clearly beautiful. Rhythm surely wanted to put a good empression on the 'oh so lovely red wolf' but he could tell she could not be won that easy with charms. Her silence was deadly, but intriguing and he was a fool for falling into her capturing traits; he flashed a few sly grins at her every once and awhile.
Soon his gaze turned to the the white wolf though Rhythm knew he would be able to take this wolf head on, he wasn't going to take advantage of this wolf's looks. This wolf seemed to be clearly the strongest out of all of them here. Rhythm made a skeptical tilt in his head towards the side looking at the tawny color wolf, she was in a daze of confusion and Rhythm picked that up fast. Interesting indeed, he thought to himself vaulgly before giving his tail a rough flick. This was a unusual so called pack. But he wouldn't be so quick to judge their strength.

The she wolf soon noticed the mud on Nankains paws, she didn’t mind mud at all though, really she found it fun to play in on raining days because she could slip and slide getting all muddy. Maybe Nanakin shared the same interest in mud as she did which sparked a whole new perspective of the white wolf to her. They had things in common she could say that for sure. Most wolves in her old pack didn’t really condone her actions of coming back with mud all over her fur but in a sense she didn’t really care what they thought about her actions there, as long as she could be her. Echo let a small relief sign when she notice Nanakin becoming excited, if he was excited, so was she. She began to wag her tail in the same manner he did excited. Maybe this wolf was a nice wolf and he wouldn’t be much of a bad threat to echo. She could only hope for the best though because she wasn’t sure what this new wolf may have under his selves. Echo felt her curiosity grown largely and she almost wanted to jump from where she was sitting dancing. Picking her nose up to the air she could smell the new wolfs scent closer and closer which made her fur perk with happiness. A new member! This was going to be so great. Her tail soon stopped, before thumping on the ground again. Panting, all this excitement was draining more energy than she imagined it would and she wondered how Nankin was still going with his energy. He was like a bolt of electricity raging with power and Echo somehow was admiring him for such great strength. But a small part of Echo wanted to be just a tad bits closer to the large white male; easing over just a bit more she felt their pelts touch which made her sigh with happiness. Though she hadn’t known the male even a day, she felt that she had known him forever just with conversation.
Suddenly a flash of black appeared from the forest towards them and Echo became even more excited, which she jumped to her paws to greet the new wolf with open paws. As the wolf got closer and closer she tail began to wag with less and less speed and she flinched back just a small amount to look at the male, he was a very large wolf which in turn made Echo Look small. Pressing just a tad bit closer to Nanakin she felt safe. She wondered why he had come so apprehensively did she look like a monster or something. Was her fur standing on her head? The black male held an expression of untrusting them... But then she imagined that it was probably very hard to trust someone one that just meet 2 seconds. But at least she was glad he meant no harm because of his somewhat submissive actions towards the group. Before she could fix her lips to speak the black male took the lead as if reading her mind. His name was Rhythm? What type of name was that? It sounded funny to Echo but she wasn’t making fun of the wolf. Though she was confused on his intentions here. Before she could state her name, he continued stating he just was looking for a pack. Pack? There is no pack here she thought to herself, looking over her shoulders she looked at the other two wolves who didn’t bother moving when they saw this sight. She thought of this as like a friendly party, but a pack? If it was – was Echo missing the joke of all this?
Soon when he was done he asked their names, and Echo was the first to jump out with a friendly greeting. “Ello! My name is Echo! Nice to meet you Rhythm!” Her voice was loud and rang though the small clearing making some birds fly away from the trees. She didn’t mean to be quite that loud but she was just excited. The male’s eyes dawned over all, drifting until it finally stopped to Whisper. She titled her head back curiously as he eyed the female. Obviously she could tell the male had spotted something in Whisper; something more interesting. It made her wonder what it was though. Echo almost giggled as she notice the black wolf sending glances at Whisper, truly he liked something about her but who wouldn’t? She was very kind and smart. Before she could fix her jaws to say something else she noticed his glaring from Nanakin to her. It made her somewhat uncomfortable but she gave a friendly glance of her own. This wolf seemed to be a quite observative type. She wondered what he thought of them.

Whisper had to think for a moment, focusing on her surroundings, the breathing of her own breath; the heart beat of the earth the wolves. She tried to calm down, thinking on what to do when this wolf reached them. She was not sure what he wanted, why he was alone. If he was looking for trouble like she knew some wolves did. They sought trouble so that trouble did not find them. It made her want to laugh, but she remained guarded among this company. Among all company really. Her tail remained of mid height, she wanted them to think she was not scared, that she was not perfectly aware of the two wolves standing and allowing intruders upon their land, and the white wolf who was happily awaiting the entrance of this one even though she was almost sure that he did not even comprehend what that might mean. He was the strongest she would guess out of them, he could afford to barrel through life, and not give a care about the scars he left behind. His fights would only scar him so much but he would recover. He would always be looked for in a pack as long as they looked at his strength. She did not envy him, that ignorance and sheer foolishness about the world she doubted she could wish upon herself as she was now. But she was jealous of what he had as far as some things went. No one gave up on him, because even if his mind was not sharp then he was strong, and the strong were expected to thrive, and the smart survive. Giving an inwardly wry smile she thought about all the others left to die. She supposed the weak counted for something, but she was not interested in them. She was only interested in the ones who would live on; because she had enough of the dead to worry about. And even though there were some who might say the dead were better left behind, they were carried with a wolf just as the living were. It's just he living could carry themselves. Enough of this she thought almost in anger, she would not be angry when she met this wolf. Making her senses sharper and more attuned to the world and the way the grass moved and the wind ruffled her pelt she knew that she would have to be ready for this wolf.
She heard the wolf approaching, and determined not to show fear. She could hear his movement though she could not tell exactly what they were. She was slightly curious, but did not wish to turn her head to look or else she might be afraid to look back. Taking a slow breath in through her nose instead of her maw she scented the wolf, his scent thick. But still she paid it no heed, as she was trying to act dominant here so they did not mistake her for a weakling. She wasn't a weakling the thought was almost growled out. He approached carefully, but she could tell this wolf was dominant. A flicker of movement in the corner of her eyes. One glance at the muscles that rippled under his pelt and the way his bones carried him around the earth and strike of his paw against it could tell her that he was not exactly a low ranked pawn in a game. She wasn't going to over estimate or under estimate him however, he was not even a piece yet; how he chose to engage was his choice, but she was wary around him as she watched his stance change to almost a slink as his eyes roamed over their features. Knowing he was searching them for what he thought she kept a proud stance. She really wanted to lower her tail and avert her eyes from the intense multicolored gaze that seemed to try and find whatever he thought he might find within her, but she kept her eyes trained on his matching them observing the streaks of white in his pelt and the way that his fur might cover up scars that she could not see. Even though she knew it most likely grated on his pride he spoke with his voice so smooth that she might slip on it; almost, but she never missed a cue, and always at least tried to appreciate another actor. His eyes somehow found hers however hard she tried to hide them from the outside world, and she could see the way his fur caught the light as a muscle above his eye twitched making her want to flinch. Instead she stood staring, imitating the way a queen might look upon her subject that bowed at her feet. Trying to glaze them, her eyes, over so the mountains etched into their reflection of the light. She was disgruntled by his friendly demeanor when she could not figure him out. With a haughty voice in mind she planned on how to respond. Though as his features shifted to other she felt her breath come much easier. She wondered if the others were as intrigued as she was with this stranger.
Before though the others could respond and she could gather her wits about her as what to say now that silence had passed, and she had thought it out she heard the wolf speak again. This time her eyes were captured, and she felt as if she was on a hunt for a deer. She had hunted deer maybe once in her life; they were too large for her alone, and they were dangerous, but she would not pass up an injured animal for a meal when she was hungry and a deer could feed her for a time if she could defend it so she had tried to hunt it. She had succeeded only because of luck it was young and injured from a scrape, the scent of blood had made her wild with hunger and adrenaline, and then the animal was slower and the small animal had fallen behind. She had been apprehensive though, not knowing whether to make her final strike or be wary of the hooves. Caught between hunger and sense. Inwardly she growled, to snap out of it. His eyes found their target else where and once more she was able to breath more easily.
With the black wolf preoccupying her she had lost track of the others. She would have to work on that. She did not plan to spend more time near that wolf, as he was one of the ones she knew she could never trust. The others she was fairly sure had good intentions, but he confused her, she had not met another who as good at gilding words to his means. Echo was closer to Nanakin. She wondered why that had happened. Maybe she would have to think about those two. Suddenly Echo broke the silence. The exclamation was as loud as ever she thought trying not to cringe, as her ears flicked slightly away. She was still not accustom to the loud and sudden sounds coming out of these wolves. They could be unpredictable and irritating. Still she knew that she would have to respond somehow. Thinking it over for a moment she met his gaze as he had met hers, trying to see if she could get some sort of reaction out of him as she said in a haughty manner "If you are looking for a pack then it is not our names you should be asking." She spared a glance at the other two wolves. She wondered what they thought of this influx of wolves onto their territory. They probably were overwhelmed, and she wondered why they had not tried to get more wolves to help handle the situation. Their territory though was nice, the thought occurred to her for a second that if this group that had just met tried they could try and take over this place. But the thought of putting trust in another wolf to work as a team was quickly dismissed as she wondered if she should provide her name to this wolf. She rarely backed down from a challenge though so she said this time her tone more short as she tried to make it sound offhand "Whisper though."
She was not pleased to make his acquaintance and would claim no such thing. Still she wondered how he would respond. This interaction was becoming more intriguing, and she wondered if she would still be able to remain a bystander with this wolf here. The numbers among the speaking ones were even, so there would be no odd one out. A title she usually tried to claim. wolves mentioned: All| wolves addressed: Rythm|

Nanakin saw the new wolf come in. And he saw the way the wolf moved around and thought though that the wolf was very...uhh what was the word. He was thinking of it a second ago, but; oh cultured. He thought the wolf talked really nice. Like a wolf that's really nice. The wolf was big and impressive. He himself felt a little odd, he was used to being the biggest wolf, and yet this wolf was about the same size as him. He could tell that this wolf thought that he could beat Nanakin in a fight, and judging from how the wolf seemed to be easy with conversation he guessed the wolf was smarter than him. That would not take much though he thought, he was not a very smart wolf. He felt that Echo came closer and he was glad she was nearer to him. He did not know what to do or say. The red wolf Whisper seemed to dislike this wolf, and she did not seem to like him or Echo either. Maybe she did not like anyone. He knew though he liked being around Echo, and he wondered if she liked being around him. Still the wolf reminded him he needed to speak after Whisper did. He remembered Echo's friendly greeting and thought that that would go over well with another friendly wolf. He could try that. Trying to be happy and confident that he knew how to act he said "Hillo, I mean Hello." Looking down at his paws he looked back up at the wolf who seemed to be awaiting the reply "I'm Nanakin, I mean my name is Nanakin." He shook his head, he messed it up. Wolves addressed: Rhythm Wolves mentioned: Echo, Whisper, Rhythm OOC: Do you want to go in order (Echo, Whisper, Nanakin, Rhythm etc, etc) ? I think that might help so that unless someone is absent and says so no one gets too far behind in the rp. and if someone joins us then they just get into the cycle. If we did this though people would have to say when they will not be able to be here.

Echo soon stopped her wagging tail and looked towards whisper. She could tell whisper had not taken lightly to thiS male and how he acted around them all. Tilting her head she, she noticed he seemed friendly she guessed. He didn't pose a threat to neither of them, and that's all she needed to know that this wolf had means of no harm to them. Twitching her ears she looked from side and noticed she was too close to Nanakin. Scooting a bits away from him she didn't want to make it seem she was pushing things to far between him and her though she missed the warmth his pelt hard offered her while she held close to his side. sitting down she was interested in how this loner wolf was feeling about their interactions.

Their introductions were rather.. adequately compelling to a certain level. The one named Echo was the one on the verge of blasting his ear drums out, while another wolf who didn't even know how to state his name clearly and a small red wolf with the glare, and tongue of a serpent; her words seemed to spit venom out forwards him making him unsure where he is went wrong in his friendly introduction. But as expected of the wolves, they stated their names as planned. Echo, Whisper and Nanakin; acknowledging them he nodded his head at each one as they spoked to let them know he was listening. Rhythm found his eyes straying to the so called wolf that called herself Whisper. Ranking her form for any signs of uneasiness or submissiveness out of pure instinct. The way she attempted, or portrayed to stare him down truly stuck his attentiveness in the female more than it had been before. Though he knew fear trickled down her veins into her body she redeemed herself with a well built comeback of meeting him toe to toe. Expressions could be faked, manipulated and controlled to ones advantage to fool his or her opponent or so called enemy, and She was pulling this off flawlessly; she was the master of disguises, delusions but really she had made a mistake, her breathing told off on her, the way she looked when he lifted his gaze from her was a dead give away to him rather she thought he was paying attention or not. He was paying great details to her, he was not going to let even one small speck of her be left unnoticed. Though it sent his mind into wondering directions that were pointless and a waste of his time and energy, he had more things to put his mind to rather than less important topics that bang at the back of his mind.
Rhythm didn't want to be perceived acting jerkish, but he couldn't help but be aware of the female labeling him that way. It wasn't so much her stance that gave him that, but the way she held her eyes against him. She held her gaze as if looking down upon him, making him question his approach, but he dare not back down from her challenge; her icy glare. Her kept up foot for foot making sure not to be left trailing in her trail as she ran over him. He kept his eyes limp and calm rather than tight and disapproving. Giving another toothy grin, Rhythm twitched his ears lightly. Feisty one aren't we? Surely he wasn't going to play her little game exactly the way she wanted him to play it. If he were to engage on her behave, he was going to add some rules himself.
Rhythm knew she wanted him to collapse into her snare; trick but he simply shrugged her words off like him walking on grass everyday unfazed. She seemed to be the only wolf who dared to take him head on, and he liked that. But still, he was going to watch very closely to this particular wolf. Bring himself to a tall stance, authority hung over his shoulders and it was clearly hard for him to hide these features. He decided to talk on his behave of teasing the red wolf. "Oh, but surely if I were to join this pack," he emphasized 'pack' greatly showing he had not been proven that this was the least bit of one. His voiced continued, a bit seductively, "what good would it do me if I didn't know my pack mates names? Kind of stupid?" He didn't wait for either of the wolves to respond before giving Whisper another sly grin, trotting around the group of wolves, he stopped side by side with Whisper feeling her heat bounce unto this fur, he didn't want to make her nervous around him, or scared, but it came off that way. "Right, Whisper?" He whispered into her velvet ears, his breath hot against her ears, he ebbed only loud enough that only him and her knew what he had said. Finally he had made his way back to the previous spot that he had met them in, he only wanted to see her pounder through her mind. He wanted to see her reactions.
He admired in a manner how the female pulled his attention from the rest of the wolves. She could easily be the one that held the plan together in this game to trap him. Glancing around, the male took in all the beauties of this land. It held a former healthy pack to dwell in; a pack would defend this territory to the end but yet these wolves just let any strangers come walking in.. A shame really. But he was at least thankful they show no aggression towards him, which easily he could have taken advantage of their kindness, but he wasn't like that.

Whisper felt a slight bit of relief after she had finished speaking, it may be tinged with anxiousness as to what had yet to come, but she did not have to speak until a slight more after. She knew that she was lucky the conversation had gone civilly with no two dominating it and making everyone else feeling awkward and out of turn. She was also glad that none of the wolves seemed to be interested in being aggressive yet. Though she thought that it may be interesting if Rhythm and Nanakin fought. With two forces she would hedge her bets on Rhythm, but she would be interested to know if the white wolf knew how to fight better than he knew how to talk, as she found it hard to believe that a wolf like that would have received no guidance, as usually wolves of his size were seen to have potential as fighters and trained by someone in their pack or the entire pack depending upon the customs of such a group of wolves. The workings of a pack were known to her, but as she had never been part of one she found it difficult to fully understand everything that packs went through. Perhaps that was why she tried to understand wolves so well, the wolves who wished her harm, the wolves who sought company, and the wolves who looked for a friend. Even the dead wolves she gave an inwards grin at the thought. Yes the dead could keep one company, not always pleasant, but they would keep you company forever. Shaking her thoughts from her she continued to observe the others.
She paused, watching how all the wolves responded to her words, the white wolf Nanakin who she thought rather a dumb beast finally found it suit to respond and his response never surprised her with its lack of intelligence. She watched now that the rest had settled down that Echo edged a small distance away from Nanakin, but she was now more alert than ever. She did not fear that this wolf would find whatever he thought the real her was, she wasn't even sure anymore; but she was afraid of him. The way that he melded his words into each other so they ended up making no sense at all if you tried to truly listen to them. It was unsettling, and made her want to leave. Maybe she should leave Nanakin and Echo here so that she could see if this wolf simply wanted company in which case he would follow the larger group or if he would be more open if he thought that the two of them would not intrude upon the set. Maybe neither. Maybe then he would leave and finally allow her to get some peace. She had been fighting her instincts to leave this group ever since she had scented his presence around this area. He had not brought trouble, but he had brought nervousness and fear which were closer kin to the first than many thought. She took a breath of the wind, and allowed herself to calm, for a moment he rigid composer melted into the place she had come from; the earth, and the next moment it was gone with the wind so fast one could barely detect that it had been there. She had not meant to do that in front of him, and she knew he might have caught it, but it was not exactly like he could question her on it, and she doubted that he would be able to be sure enough of himself to confirm he had seen it to go through the trouble of actually finding a way to call her on it in a way that she could not show some sort of dissent to it and easily refute whatever claim he may make. It was odd how having one trouble here turned her worries away from the two standing off and the two who were not interacting. She needed to pay attention to all of them, and still pay attention to her surroundings. It did not fog her mind, but it was a strain on her to pay attention to all of these at once.
After the moments of silence following Nanakin's speech and Echo's surprising silence passed she observed Rhythm begin to speak. She turned her head towards him wondering what he could possibly have to say, until realizing that he responded to her. She knew that Nanakin and Echo's introductions may not have interested him as much as hers, but that did not mean he could completely bypass them. But she relaxed slightly as the furs on her tail moved back to the position she wanted, they had moved barely, but she hoped that no one noticed how on edge she was. Fear, be calm, in her periforary however he circled around until he was uncomfortably right by her side, she could feel his breath in her ear, and it made her ear flick as if irritated; as she stared at his retreating shadow. The faintest smile traced her lips though as she responded. He knew her name, moving closer to him, so that only a few inches separated her nose from his snout she said "Fairly stupid indeed, but we already knew you weren't very bright Rhythm." And then she took a gamble that he would not attack and forced her bottom to the ground into a sit. The grass scratched her tail as it lay wrapped around her paws.
Waiting for him to respond she knew her gaze was also on the others. She was going to play the game, and she was not going to be afraid, even if she was using all her might to keep her heart rate normal and not beat out of her chest with her legs fast and quick behind it. wolves mentioned: All| wolves addressed: Rhythm|

Nanakin sighed, Echo had moved far away and the other wolf was now talking with the red wolf. He would not understand Rhythm. Why was that wolf interested in the one unfriendly wolf here? And why was she always so mean when the other wolves were so friendly? It made no sense to him. In fact, very few of the things that any of those two wolves had done made sense to him. He was annoyed with himself for not understanding. Maybe he and Echo should go away and talk without these two very confusing wolves. But then maybe Echo would not want to leave, and he did not want to tell her what to do. Besides the black wolf was friendly, it was just the weird red colored wolf that he did not like. About to speak his mind and blurt out something he closed his mouth, no one would think anything unusual. He just was not sure he wanted to fight with the red wolf. He was on another wolf's territory, and he did not want to fight. Besides he could beat her anyway, she was small, so that meant he would not be able to catch her, but if he ever fought her then he would win. The group was being peaceful though and he was sure it would be a bad idea to ruin a good thing while they had it. He was not very smart, maybe it was best he had kept his mouth shut. Echo had almost seen enough with this show. It bored her to death and she wanted to do something else. But she was a bit unsure about how the red wolf would handle herself around the black wolf. He began to scare her a lot and she found herself wanting to run the other way, but she fought that off. Maybe their was something they could do rather then try to stare each other down. She didn't know though, she feared if she would've asked to do something else everyone woyos look at her as a very not bright individual. She didn't want that, But echo could see that Nanakin was feeling the same was.. well at leasted she hoped that was purely the case. Echo just couldn't stand it sitting here anymore being silent while the other two wolves had wars with their eyes. Maybe she should break it up? Probably not a good idea it was probably just best if they left the two their space.. When echo was about to leave she noticed the black wolf trotting around them, but stopping at Whispers side. She wondered what was going on, and it help every inch of her strength not to bounce over there and see what they where chatting about.. Where they leaving her and Nanakin out or something? She didn't get it, she with a flick of her tail that managed to sweep Nanakin's side she stood to her paws and stretched her muscles. She needed a run, and sitting here didn't help her one bit. "Umm, Nanakin you want to go for a run or something?" She was hoping he would say yes, but then again she wasn't really sure if he really wanted to do so. Before listening to him answer she bounced off a few feet away from the group. If he didn't follow that was fine and dandy to, as long as she could get away from those two for awhile she felt better. She would be back before dark, but knowing her she usually explored a little to far. If Nanakin tagged along with her, she would have a better chance to get to know him. Echo was slightly worried for whisper though, though this black wolf had a friendly approach, she wasn't turn sure Whisper should really try and tackle this wolf down. Echo hoped that Whisper would be safe and that the black wolf would be nice, because the way he was acting when he had not spoken or even responded to their names made her a bit sad. Taking another look over her shoulders she tried to imagine nothing bad would happen.. But who was she to try and hope that? Whatever happens happens. And if it does, she'll be in the area to hurry to the aid..

Inquisitive as to what would be assumed, or said next Rhythm gradually reassigned his haunches to be established in a more comfortable sitting position; tail curling to swing itself around and find it's place near his paws he felt satisfied. He then arched his shoulders slight as if trying to prevent any stiffness to come to his shoulders. He began to focus more and more on his surroundings taking his eyes off the red wolf in front of him. Rolling his ears in a tiny twitch, each sound seemed to incarcerate his attention triggering his ears to began to rhythmically move. He clearly couldn't dwell upon a time where his feelings and thoughts were at some what of a peaceful, and calming stance. Most of the time he felt unsafe, insecure, and ready to flee at any given moment. But here.. ..The male could find harmony and unity at mind. When his gaze had left the red wolf.. everything seemed to move slowly and it gave his hetero colored eyes a chance to in take all the beauty nature had to provide here. He couldn't help but appreciate the momentary rest in his mind that ceased to blare questions, regrets, goals and dreams that always ripped through his mind. What were his dreams though? Goals? He already knew what his regrets were but he never really put effort in understanding what he wanted to accomplish with his short life. Feeling himself drift away from reality he glanced at Whisper noticing they were in the middle of a conversation. If she reacted to his words, he was too lost in thought to notice. Finally, the world began to slowly recover it's movement in his mind made it back. He was now fully aware of the conversation at hand.
Taking a small inhale before deeply exhaling, Rhythm wanted to apologize for his rude behaviour towards her and the others. At times he meant well, but others saw his actions as being a bit of a jerk to them; even how he approached to them made them think that way. As soon as he was about to do so, Whisper had responded making his neck fur jump out of whack. It took every bit of his strength to keep from growling at her remark towards him. Shaking his fur, he noticed the fur on his head raising. It struck him hard; like lightning, it was the very electrical current that would send a wolf off. But yet he sat staying calm and collect. And the fact she was extremely close to his face made him want to back up just a few inches.. but he held his ground eyeing her with the same intensity though his pelt bristled with how close she was to the accidentally bumping noses. She picked her words very carefully around him, and he began picking that up on her quickly.. But still it didn't hide the fact that she was calling him stupid, secretly in a sneaky manner. Telling from Echos and nanakins point of view, they were completely stumped on what was going on. But He knew exactly what was going on. Holding a grin from his lips he raised an eyebrow at her. If he hadn't known any better.. She was trying to put a show on, to see if she could make him fall for making him submit her before him for the smart remarks she was giving him. If-- If she would have succeeded with such plan her theory of him being a brute would come true. And her group of friends would probably come and run him out. She almost had him, but to bad she didn't get the response she was aching for from him.
Soon He noticed Echo Bounce up and ask Nanakin if he would take a run with her. So Whispers bodyguards had enough of not being entertained by this lovely conversation? Rhythm didn't second think that because he was getting rather bored with this conversation himself. Trying to put an impression on the lady didn't seem to go so well like he would've imagine; she was being tough, but that didn't discourage Him from trying to see the different side of her. For his curiosity sake, Rhythm guessed he would stay and see what Whisper had to blab about in his ears. Gaping at her form, an idea of giving her a nickname popped up. The 'Red devil.' Her glare soon drew his eyes back to hers rather than her figure. Scooping could be another word for how he looked at her. She was simply marvelously to the eyes of the admirer and some part of him wanted her to be his. But her beautiful traits were deadly and he began to redeem himself of why he was somewhat displeased with her comments on his behalf. "You almost got me, you know that.." He let out a small deep chuckled that vibrated from his throat. Then giving his tail another hard flick his emotion changed from laughing, too irritated and he didn't give her a chance to answer back with she didn't know what he was talking about jive. She was the type that seemed to play many games with her enemies; confusing them to the point where they wouldn't know their left paw from the right. His patience was growing small, and his tolerance for her words was almost to the point where he would turn and walk away from the fae. "You are a really tricky one Indeed.. You conceal your real intentions like puzzles, riddles... I could've put you in your place for that remark, and you knew that, yet you take the risk anyway. Pretty bold, but stupid if I may say so myself." His leathery nose crinkled up slightly. He could have ripped into her fur at that moment, she should be grateful he wasn't that type of wolf because she clearly wouldn't be standing in the proud pose she was in now but on the ground whimpering for his mercy.
Despite her rude remarks to him, he decided not to put it against her; if she was trying to get rid of him, she would have a very difficult time doing so because he was the type that was hard to push away. Though He still admired her willingness to stand up against him when clearly she knew she wouldn't win a fight against him in a thousand years. It made him pounder even more to understand what was under all that toughness, determination? He wanted to experience it himself. What is Whisper actually like? His eyes softened and inside he felt like his heart was thumping faster than regular. That's something he wanted to see from her. Titling his head, he woundered how long she would occupy his space in front of him being that close? He hoped for a long time because he was enjoying how close she was; their noses almost touching. Was this another challenge? Surely he would win this.

Whisper was starting to feel uncomfortable; with such a close proximity to another she could feel his breathing and she could not look away to see the world and re charge from this. She had put herself in a situation she could not back out of, and that was more dangerous for her than this wolf. But she knew that she might escape, in a fight she would die, but in flight she would have a chance. She searched his eyes for any form of reaction as she kept her breathing even and her heart in check as it wanted to skip a beat. Trying to look anywhere but him while still looking at him. He was a handsome wolf she supposed, but she did not know much about him, about his scars, about his personality. Was he showing her right now? All of it confused her. She barely remembered being so confused before. Why was she so confused? It was always so simple to respond to wolves; respond what they would expect of who you were suppose to be and they never questioned you, and then when everything went smoothly they did not realize the impossibility of that imperfection until she was gone. Hopefully long gone. Annoyed she flickered her ears wondering how he would react. The others may not be able to understand that she was saying, and she expected no protection from them. She did wonder though how this was going to play out if they stayed. She was not sure how long she wanted to keep up this arrogant demeanor and facade. Maybe it would get him off her of he thought he saw the real her. She did not want to do that in front of Nanakin and Echo though. So she would have to wait or get him off on his own. He really was an interesting wolf. Even though he manipulated his words and was controlled she did not think about him as a cultivator of deception. She thought h was actually fairly honest and that surprised her. It made the thought cross her mind to be honest with him as well. Perfectly honest. She shook it out of her internally; she was not going to be honest with anyone but herself. Acceptance was not what she sought, but being honest with anyone to do with that information as they pleased only led to hurt which was not worth the possible gain it might bring. She eyed the wolf trying to understand him, but failing. Wolves were annoying, dumb wolves were easy to understand but smart wolves were harder; she could understand those like her, but those so totally different and the same were hard for her to grasp and she disliked admitting it to herself or to another. To have something that she could not understand.
Suddenly Echo proposed to leave. It was what she wanted, and hearing the wolf's bubbly speech did break the silence. As Echo trot off she spared a glance at Nanakin wondering if he too would depart and give her a chance to figure this wolf out in a different setting. She sighed, feeling bored with all the wolves here. She now doubted the pack wolves would do anything. If they were letting the other two deeper into their territory they must not care at this point. She wondered what the alpha would think, but quickly dismissed the thought. It would not be her fault nor her problem if they got themselves injured or slaughtered. She might want to warn them, but seeing how lax the pack was she decided not to worry. She glanced at Rhythm. He was an enigma to her, but she guessed that she was to him as well. He himself though was a fairly solid wolf. He had a muscular build and seemed to be more strong than fleet, but she did not want to judge. She would not peg him to be a particularly intelligent wolf either, and he had exceeded her expectations. Not to the point where she lost her footing, but she would admit she may have thought that he would be another dim wolf, and he turned out to be smarter than she thought. Maybe as smart as her. She wanted to test that right now.
He seemed to be taking in the moment as he responded. His words seemed almost like a compliment, and internally she tensed, her face showing little strain as her tail lay stiff and controlled on the ground around her paws. A small sign that she was not as perfectly at ease as he might think, or she wanted him to think anyway. Then he laughed at her, she withheld the remark she wanted to say about that. Then he continued. She listened carefully to his words. Trying to figure out what he expected. He expected her to keep playing the same way she had been. The thought was in her mind, and then she processed it. So she would throw him for a loop and see if he fell for it. Evidently he was going to be a piece on the playing field. She wondered how to best approach this, the plains around her empty for ideas. After appearing to consider his words while she really considered her own she decided to act more friendly now. Maybe he would be different company if she was, and she had not exactly been friendly, she could try. although from his personality and the way he still remained inches from her nose he might just be a difficult wolf.
Saying in a light airy tone she spoke "Ah well do you want to discuss it over a walk?" She did not invite Nanakin, he should go with Echo. With the distraction of changing scenery and observing how he walked through the earth she might be able to gain more of an opinion on him. He was rather an interesting figure. And she might be able to build up how she wanted him to think the real her was. She was under no intention of doing that, not that she disliked him; but undergoing the tedious task and then the effort and heartbreak of any sort of friendship was not something she was planning on putting herself through anytime soon.Besides from what she had gotten he could be a deceiver himself at times, and was also rude the other times. While she may be a liar herself however you wished to look at it she did not seek out other liars, malcontents, and evil spirits. She had had enough of those, and she had no use, need, or want for more. Snorting but careful not to let him see she got up and turned before craning her neck to maintaining eye contact. She was ready to take a walk, wherever it may take her. She just had to be in control. Easier said than done the small voice sang in her head. It was happy at her troubles. wolves mentioned: All| wolves addressed: Rhythm| ooc: I was thinking and maybe we could do a plot with Whisper and Rhythm where they start out hating each other and then maybe pursue either a friendship or romantic relationship.
