Coat Color: August’s coat is an overcast cloudy day with outbreaks of clear skies here and there. She has thickets where the clouds cover darker and patches where the light is starting to show. Her maw is powdered white and tapers into a dark gray; highlighting the contrasting yellow in her eyes. A nimbus cloud hovers above her forelegs creating the look of a large pheasant. Perfectly labeled- a bird hunter. Along the sides of her forelegs hang the tasseled cloudy white underbrush, almost invisible in snow.

Height: 25 inches
Weight: 73 lbs
Build: She is unpretentiously small. Her build is narrow and gangly for being young. Her tail trains behind her, still a little too long for her body. Her legs are frail and need some good exercise. Her ears stand alert waiting for the sound of bird wings to interrupt shear silence. She is an excellent contortionist and can bend her body almost in half in mid-air. She does well fetching for fowl. Because she is so small she can hide between logs and hollowed out fallen trees waiting for pheasants to land. August loves to stay up high but because she is so small she has a problem catching branches and usually is stuck on the ground. She can’t climb trees very well due to small limbs so has adapted to life on the ground learning to bush dwell.

BACKGROUND
Personality: August's spirit is as free as the birds in the air she catches. She is charismatic and easy to get a long if you have extreme patience. She will wait as long as it takes for someone to trust her and it takes some time to earn Augusts trust. She has food aggression over her birds but will share if food is scarce. August is known within previous packs for being slightly mischievous and has tendencies to disrupt peace and quiet. She loves a good chase but demands to be left alone when on the hunt for bigger kills. August has a strange fear of the night sky and refuses to go out when it's dark outside. She only appears from sunrise to sunset. August needs constant affection but asks for it in strange ways. She doesn't like getting the webbing in her feet dirty and will constantly clean her feet if she feels the dirt drying. August likes the sound of woodpeckers drilling trees so she refuses to hunt them. If you really want to agitate her ask her to hunt one. Likewise if you want to have a quick conversation starter ask her about the sound a duck makes.
Family: Has a brother not too far from here. Was following her but probably took a longer route.
HISTORY August was carried off as a young pup by a hawk. She was supposed to be dinner to a family of three baby Hawks. That's when she developed her taste for baby birds and dined that night on hawk delicacy. When the mother hawk returned to see her dead young she threw August out of the nest. She landed having no idea where she was. She scoped the ground trying to find her way back and she found a young male wolf wandering. Since then she adopted him as her brother and they went off exploring together making a fine team.
STRENGTHS stalking birds, stealth, can easily get into tight spaces, quiet.
WEAKNESSES can't reach most things, can't take down big game, has a problem working with others.
LIKES August likes anything that moves faster than she does
