Kipxin felt as Kole returned her affection, and her heart she thought couldn't beat any harder or faster suddenly pulsated so intensely she could hear it in her ears. The world melted away and she was completely taken by him. The feelings she felt were indescribable and she felt so completely content she would have been perfectly okay with this moment lasting forever.
As Kole nuzzled her, her chin was forced upwards because of their difference in height. The feeling of his soft fur beneath hers gave a jolt of electricity and a tingling sensation took over. She allowed her weight to fall into him and as he moved, she gained her place beneath his chin. The closeness she felt to him caused a sensation in her stomach she could only describe as a butterfly tornado.
There wasn't any more fear - she knew in that moment that he had the same feelings for her that she felt for him. It was sudden, but she was glad the ice between them was broken and the uncertainty was gone. It was a huge leap, but having him, with those eyes, next to her to stand by her through anything, she felt infinite.

Whisper paused as her strides took her farther and farther away from Kipxin and Kole, she knew that the moment they were sharing was private but part of her wished that it wasn't so. She strode through the forest like she had lived there for years, confidently making her way toward the foul smelling carcass. She wondered what was happening with them and then almost returned back, but decided not to, it was probably private, she wandered deeper into the forest, not bothering to quiet her paws because she was not on the hunt. Prey flickered in and out of her view yet she paid it no head, there was a stench emitting from the deer now and scavengers were picking the carcass clean. Whisper scented the air for Bain or Azreal, wondering where they had gotten to, anxiously wondering if they were hungry, they had missed a meal. As she went through the forest she contemplated what she had seen, earlier Kole had said that he was beta, now it looked like there might be an alpha male. But where Azreal fit into this didn't make sense either, one had to be the top Beta one the lower, it was the obvious hierarchy yet she sensed that they were of equal rank. She thought about her thoughts about Azreal briefly, she knew they would probably never accept each other as mates, he was so fiery and passionate and she was almost the opposite and she liked to be respected and so did he. Whisper smirked, it would be fun to challenge him, she knew she could most likely not compete with him physically but he intrigued her slightly, or at least as much as anything had in a while. She allowed her long strides to follow the scent of Azreal, and Bain. She caught only ghosts of the real wolves, no solid picture to track down. To release energy she hunted. She scented the air, there were mice nearby, close and then she scanned with her vision, then her hearing while she tried to pinpoint the exact location of the mice. Not pausing as she confidently strode over to a small hollow, the mice skittered but she still caught them in her vice like jaws, the metallic taste of blood filling her senses. Whisper took a sharp intake of the frigid air before she gulped up the remains of the mouse, carrying two in her jaws, as she searched, finally after a few minutes she buried them and marked the spot, she would find it later. Still searching she wandered deeper into her snow world looking for the blind male and the fiery one. Kole's eyes slowly opened. They gleamed with happiness from the fur that brushed against his. He gazed lazily at her grey fur before burrowing his nose a little deeper in its warmth. He was sure that the alpha could hear his heart beating. He didn't know how long they had been like this, though he did know that every moment was heaven. Soon when it was time he pulled away ever so slowly, letting his shorter fur comb through hers. Soon just the sides of their muzzles were touching, and then soon nothing at all. Instantly Kole could feel the icy bite of the wind once more, but Kips blue eyes kept him hypnotized for a moment longer. Coming out of his daze, he glanced over to where whisper had been only moments ago. A light set of tracks in the snow was all that remained. He followed them with his calculating green look into the thicker forest, yet she wasn't in sight.
"She's gone."
Kole glanced back at the grey wolf who stood before him, seeing now how beautiful she was. Her grey pelt danced in the stiff icy breeze that made the trees moan and groan. He lowered his head slightly, his green eyes locking with hers, only now feeling a slight pang of embarrassment. The feeling was gone almost as quickly as it came when he spotted the gleam in her eye. Another brisk wind blew cutting through his fur, awakening his senses to the world around him. The sun had set, giving the sky a dark purple hue.
"It's getting colder."
He spoke in a quiet dark voice that showed his concern. The cold weather hadn't effected him so far, but the chill he felt wasn't a good sign for the weather to come.

Whisper's strides began to shorten and her breath began to become more smoky. She was chilled now, before it was just cold weather, but this.....she knew the signs of storms, blizzards, and good weather, all of these signs pointed to a full out blizzard, she needed to get back, to warn them, all of her thoughts collided as the tiny flakes began their decent upon her fur, she panted a ragged gasp, she needed to get somewhere safe, but she didn't know this territory. Whisper fled towards her receding footprints as she followed her trail back towards Kipxin and Kole. She reached the clearing with the dens, just as a frigid blast of air pushed them all, she listened to Kole's words just enough to hear him say that it was getting colder. She ran towards them, trying to appear purposeful, they needed to find the pack, warn them and stay in the den, possibly dig up some food caches. She gave a curt nod to Kipxin and Kole then spoke her voice not betraying the anxiety that she felt "A large blizzard is coming it could last for days, we need to get the pack to safety and possibly find food for the time we will spend in the den" She inhaled the frosty air freezing her insides as she tried to appear respectful and not commanding. Whisper wondered whether they would believe her or not, she glanced at them both. Azreal: looks over at blind wolf. Of course everyone takes off and leaves him with the incapable wolf. He felt slightly offended. He wasn't a babysitter. He was the beta for crying out loud. Azreal looks over at Bain slightly irritated he has to deal with him. He looks out into the forest to his left. Azreal was still starving. He needed something to eat. As much as he wanted to play nanny, his stomach was screaming. He thinks about whisper. He should find her to offer to take her on a hunt. He hasn't been the most suitable host to begin with. He wasn't all that bad. Azreal quietly pads away hoping to leave the wolf unnoticed. He wouldn't be gone for long. Hopefully the wolf wouldn't even notice. He walks into the thicket to see someone coming towards him. Azreal perks his ears in interest. He wags his tail and folds his ears seeing it was Whisper. He slowly walks to her in a playful way, hoping she wasn't in a sour mood. "Good to see you again." He smiles. Wolves Mentioned:: Kip Kole Bain Whisper Wolves Addressed:: Whisper

"She's gone,"
Kipxin, dazed and watching Kole as he slowly blended in with the darkening sky almost didn't notice. Her stomach was turning and her mind was racing yet she thought of nothing. Blinking, now realizing that Kole was no longing paying attention to her and was actually speaking, she snapped back into reality.
She watched as he backtracked her paw prints into the forest beyond, and how he snuck glances back at her, and she grinned. But only for a moment.
A cold wave suddenly plummeted down the side of the mountain and blanketed the valley. A shiver ran up Kipxin's spine and just as Kole began to verify her thoughts, Whisper broke through the trees with an alarming observation.
She took into account her words, and just as she finished speaking, Azreal emerged from the trees. Her eyes widened in surprise - so much was happening at once. Suddenly, the trees began singing to her once more and the howls of the wind between their branches became familiar. It was the song she had heard weeks ago when Bain had first found his way to the territory. The energy tingled at her paws, but she remembered and the visions had no need to take over her mind once more.
The alpha was a bit nervous for a moment, but she remained composed. Holding her head up high she spoke smoothly and calmly,
"We should get hunting. It's getting dark, so we should try and find where the elk are bedding down for the night. We need to go right now. Come on."

Whisper glanced around, no one seemed to quiet register her words. A scent came into range though and it made all of her thoughts go to the wind, which was blasting hard into her pelt. A flicker of red, and there was a playful step and grin beside her, surprisingly she grinned back. She didn't worry about not knowing how or if she would appear foolish, she just grinned. Her tail gave a short involuntary wag of greeting. Despite his some what fluctuating attitude whisper found herself enjoying Azreal's presence. The alpha spoke with alarming urgency, it made Whisper's nerves tingle. She glanced at Azreal, it looked like he was the most accomplished hunter of the group. Whisper nodded at Kipxin, wondering why they would hunt sleeping elk, it was generally very dangerous, because the cows were mating and the males were extremely protective this time of year. Kipxin looked stressed so Whisper didn't question her but she still wondered whether the effort would be worth it. A cool blast of solid air hit her and she shivered, she needed to warm up, her coat protected her but it was thinner than most wolves and she hadn't fully grown her winter one yet. Glancing toward Azreal she just wanted to get moving. Wondering if Kipxin wanted them to go in separate groups or if they should all hunt. The thought struck her, all of them were not here...where was Bain? He was able to find his way but he was blind, if they moved he would never find them, not with the size of this territory. Whisper glanced around towards Azreal wondering if he had left Bain near the Kill site or if the blind wolf was gathering the herbs that healers used. Whisper turned to Azreal, a slight shiver went down her spine again, this time not exactly from the cold but if anyone asked that was what it was "Where is Bain?" The question was directed at Azreal but if anyone else knew then they needed to speak up. It was going to be hard to have him in the pack, constantly keeping track on him, Whisper hoped that she never had to do that, she would probably end up leaving off precariously near a cliff edge. Azreal:
Azreal searches for Whispers glance. He meets her eyes and quickly looks away. Her fierce gaze had a deep meaning today. He couldnt look straight in to them because he didnt want to give her mixed messages. He felt the ripple effect of her words and responded quickly. "He no longer needed my assistance. He wandered on his own path. Hes not a puppy. He can fend for himself." Azreal tucks out his chest appearing a little taller. He didnt want her second guessing his words. Azreal looks back at Whisper hoping she didnt have such strong feelings for Bane. She was always so concerned about him. Azreal didnt like that. He secretly wanted her for himself. He nudges her and moves her to go on a hunt. He starts walking and tilts his head inviting her to join. He wanted to treat her to a nice hunt. Maybe hed start revealing a little more of himself to her. Azreal looks over his coat and then at hers. Hers was featherweight, light and gentle. His was weatherproof, soft but rough, and durable. He wondered how she was feeling. What was it like to feel the brush through fur, to push through gentle currents of water streaming over smooth rocks, to feel a light breeze on a warm summer day parading through whispy tall grass. He gestured over to her and smiled tucking his head in and looking in northeast, the direction he wanted to take her. Wolves Mentioned:: Bane Whisper Wolves Addressed:: Whisper

(Short post sorry, my computer broke) Whisper hesitated as Azeal spoke he seemed to be much more...shy. She listened to his words, even she could tell he was trying to say something more. She didn't care about Bain in the way she was feeling things for Azreal, but if he was part of the pack it wasn't acceptable to her to let him meander through mercy territory. She took a moment contemplating it he hadn't said it in a mean way but there was a sort of confidense she wasn't sure was authentic about his speech. Whisper felt Azreal's warmth as she tried not to lean into it, wondered for a second if he liked her like she liked him. If so then could he be jealous? She shook the thought away. But the glimmer of the thought remained, what would it be like? Love, she paused trying to shove it all down. This storm would hit soon, tomorrow at the eirliest. She felt Azreal nudge her flank, before turning towards northeast. Probably a favorite hunting haunt. She glanced towards Kipxin then decided Kipxin needed time to think about the pack and be with Kole, and she... Wanted time with Azreal to at least sort out her jumbled feelings. His coat was dense and even though he was a wolf like her a red one, there were marked differences. She mused for a moment heading in the direction he had indicated. When she was around him all of her thoughts were mixed with feelings, feelings she didn't want to hear but yearned to be heard. Glancing at him she wondered what he thought of her, he was fiery but it seemed as if it was the sort that could be gentle and warm to all of those around it. She wondered if it would change, if it would contort into something else. Wolves mentioned: Azreal, Bain, Kole, Kipxin Wolves addressed: None

Kole tore his gaze from the alpha as Whisper reappeared followed shortly by Azreal. He smiled towards his friend, but noticed the reddish male's attention was held tightly by Whisper. A pang of happiness filled his chest. The pack was growing closer. More of a family now than anything else. The fur on his back raised up slightly at whispers urgent words. He realized that the cold weather and heaviness in the air was showing the signs of the storm that she spoke of. He nodded in agreement, a solemn expression painted across his face, darkening his green gaze.
"We should get hunting. It's getting dark, so we should try and find where the elk are bedding down for the night. We need to go right now. Come on."
Kole's eyes rested on Kip as she spoke. He didn't know if he would ever be able to speak so powerfully. He glanced back at the others, watching Whisper and Azreal take off. He knew that their hunt would be successful, both of them being accomplished hunters. Kole trusted their ability.
"We can cover more ground split up." He spoke with a reassuring tone and a hint of a smile. Kole searched Kipxin's gaze, searching for something to signal their move. He slowly took in the stinging cold air through his nostrils, scenting the air for the elk she mentioned. The cold overpowered his senses slightly, but he found a rough direction to follow. He stepped away, holding her gaze. He knew that if they didn't succeed in catching anything it would be a rough few days, but he tried not to let his thoughts show in his expression. His smile was on the verge of tarnishing as he made his way deeper into the forest.

Whisper didn't wait for Azreal too long making her way through mercy territory trying to scent any prey that would keep the pack alive. This storm would come tomorrow and she still needed to dig out her den the way she had in mind. She took a moment to envision a space underneath the pin where there would be many openings so that she wouldn't feel trapped. Scenting she wished that she wasn't leading, ferling her insufficiency at hinting as she had never learned from her parents like she was suppose to. Pushing her past away she hoped that she would find something but knowing the animals would be skittery with the weather looming over them. She wished for many things vut mostly she was hunting, making her steps muffled and silent, constantly flickering her ears for a snatch of sound, scenting the air, and heading in the direction she had set out. After half an hour she wondered if Azreal had only meant this as a path toward another place inaccessible by other means. But with tenacity she continued her search. Finally she scented prey, moving closer to the tantalizing smell she made out that it was deer and a small herd of them. Whisper scented the now eerily calm air for Kipxin and Kole to see if this was alreafy their hint and if she shpuld join them. Then she tried to find Azreal. Not finding him she inhaled more deeply, she had bot traveled very far but the scent was distant. Sighing she lay down patiently wondering what to do ready to spring if the deer moved. Whisper paused wondering where Azreal was. If he was in trouble then she would help but she ruled that out he was capable and then she wondered if he had found prey in which case she should probably wait for him to catch up and help, but if he quit the hunt like last time she needed to move quickly before the deer picked up her scent and moved. She waited for a moment lost in thought pondering the magnitude of the storm. It would be large but she knew that no storm lasted forever, if need be she could go for another five days without food but would emerge emaciated, weak, and useless to the pack. She didn't want that. Whisper ga ed at the deer who had incovered some patches of grass and were contentedly munching on them feeling safe even though she lay ready to pounce only 50 yards or so away. Whisper decided to wait for Azreal a little longer before attackng not feeling partcullarly confident and knowing the importance of catching one of the deer. KIPXIN
Kipxin nodded at Kole's words. It would be easier if they split up.
Kole held her gaze as he began trotting off into the woods in search of prey. It was definitely getting colder now and the leaves that held on stubbornly to their branches in the frosty valley air spun violently against the whipping wind. As she watched them spin, there was a sudden gust of air that passed by her, pulling at her coat and causing her eyes to blink against the sharp cold, and just as suddenly as it came, it vanished, leaving an eerie calm.
In the distance she heard the rumbling of forming clouds moving towards them. There was a looming darkness in the distance that threatened to suffocate the twinkling stars above them.
Kipxin flashed a look towards Kole who had already begun to trot off in search of food. Throwing her head in his direction, her body, then paws all followed as she pounded the ground to catch up. There was a chill running up her spine and when she caught up to Kole, she rubbed herself against his side.
There was always something about Kole that brought her warmth, and in this weather, the gift of his presence was priceless. She grinned playfully at him, relishing in the sudden jolt of electricity she received from his brief touch, and powered ahead of him, catching the distant scent of their future prey.
If danger was in their future, why not make the present a bit more fun?

whisper lay in wait the deer contentedly nibbling on the sparse grasses that they had uncovered. she waited for about ten minutes more before she began to sort the deer and pick out the weak ones. familiarizing herself with all the ones she noticed that looked weak or emmitted an odd smell who would die soon anyway. Whisper knew that she could recognize the weak ones and once the chase was on seperate them from the herd for the kill. She watched with rapt attention careful to detect movement of the leader and the ones she had picked. Apraising them Whisper wondered if she could take one on her own and then discontented with the blank wondered if she really wanted to. She briefly wondered where Azreal was, he would probably know hiw to hunt better than she did but refrained from looking for him. She knew he was behind her in the forest somewhere but she couldn't risk the deer moving ito go look for him. but knowing that he was not here made her return to more realistic options; she could give chase, or she could wait. Whisper gazed at the deer and judged the sun, the storm would hit tomorrow and the sun had begun it's decent a short while ago, sge had time to wait. Besides whisper reasoned with herself it would be nice to hunt with another wolf and she also wanted to spend a little bit of time with Azreal. wolves mentioned azreal wolves addressed none

He heard the steps she took, and looked back just as Kipxin brushed against him. Caught off guard from the touch his heart skipped a beat. His steps suddenly felt clumsy with the warm feeling of her by is side. Kole's mind screamed to say something. He needed to tell the alpha how she made him feel, but the words to explain it didn't come. All he could think to do to explain himself was to brush his cheek against her shoulder. The dark wolf's senses exploded at the feeling. She always succeeded in making his heart race. Right from the beginning. He had never seen another wolf in the same way that he saw her. She was all he thought about, it felt as though Kipxin was all he needed to survive. She filled his stomach with butterflies, made him warmer than any hot summer day could. She made him smile even when nothing was good in the world. She was always that good thing in the world. The best thing. His steps slowed while both his heart and mind raced. There was something he needed to say but it just wouldn't come.

Whisper lay in wait, the cold frigid air penetrating her thin coat. She watched intently as the deer moves but her real thoughts were not on hunting. She wondered where Azreal was, even if he was her opposite he was rather interesting, every time she was around him she felt a burning curiousity to know everything about him. She glanced back at the woods wondering where he was. He interested her but for all of her thoughts she drew a blank, it was not something she could even explain to herself, it was simply a feeling that happened whenever he was around. Whisper chanced another glance now more anxiously wondering where Azreal was, he wasn't lost and if he was in trouble...would he call for help? Whisper paused if he was being stubborn and she found him hurt....she shook the painful image away. Azreal was capable but Bain was not. Whisper sighed quietly not wanting to alert the deer to her presence, she didn't have time to babysit Bain like he was a pup and she also didn't have much more time to wait for Azreal she had waited about 1/2 and hour already and the deer appeared slightly restless as if alerted to her presence. Whisper again looked back almost will Azeal to come out, she wasn't sure she couod handle this alone, wasn't sure she even wanted to.
